I upgraded to an Air2 because my old iPad was just wireless and the hotspot on my phone ate up the battery. Now I can get on the Internet without my phone, and the Air2 can be my hotspot on those occasions when I need to use my laptop.- wi-fi capable

Excellent. Bought the GPRS version. So good for things like Tomtom, iSailor, Navionics and OS maps. Use it all the time for tasks associated with ship passage planning, compass errors, ETAs, tide times, movies, films, music, you name it does it. Bought the 128GB version as I store a lot of data.
