"iPad Air 2 is a great tablet however slightly overpriced."
What I personally really like about the iPaid Air 2 is that it's lightweight and easy to carry while having a perfectly sized screen for watching videos. It's fast, reliable and feels/looks good (especially the gold colour, which is what I own).- Good sized Screen
- relatively lightweight
- looks & feels good
- Limited storage
- fragile without a case
- slightly overpriced
Review: Apple iPad Air 2
A bigger screen? Nope. A lower price? Nah. How about a bit more storage in the base model? You must be joking. So what is the headline feature of the iPad Air 2? It's thinner, because that's exactly the feature everyone had been clamouring for. "You know that iPad Air?
Apple iPad Air 2 Tablet Review
Apple's standard, sleek packaging gives way to a beautifully designed device. It is 18% thinner than its predecessor, and a fair bit lighter too.- Beautifully slim design
- Improved display
- Phenomenal A8X chip
- Good battery life
- Impressive tablet camera
- Very expensive
- Pixel density could be higher
- iOS is not for everybody
The iPad Air 2 delivers unparalleled value for the price
Apple's aging mid-range tablet is still the perfect mix of size and performance for nearly everyone.- The iPad Air 2 has a great balance of size and weight. Crisp, bright display. iOS 9 runs perfectly, including split-screen apps.
- Priced relatively high for a tablet
- single speaker isn't that loud compared to iPad Pro.
Apple iPad Air 2 review: Slimmer and faster, but a smaller battery
Smartphone and tablet vendors seem to be locked in an arms race to build the thinnest possible devices at the moment, with the current thinnest smartphone - the Oppo R5 - being so skeletal at 4.85mm that it can't even accommodate a 3.5mm audio jack.- Thin
- light and elegant design
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent performance
- Low-reflectivity Retina HD display
- Touch ID support
- Improved iSight and FaceTime HD cameras
- Lower-capacity battery than the 2013 iPad Air
- No MicroSD storage expansion
Apple iPad Air 2 (A1567 / 128 GB / LTE) Tablet Review
The Apple iPad Air 2 is still a really good tablet that is pleasing with its even slimmer construction and high-quality materials . Unfortunately, the slim construction also results in some drawbacks since the tablet is more sensitive to pressure compared to its predecessor .- Great design
- High-quality materials
- Fast components
- Great display
- Excellent GPS module
- Covers many frequencies
- Good camera in daylight
- Good viewing angle stability
- Decent speakers
- Finally 2 GB memory
- The iPad Air 2 is not only nice to look at
- but also really fast.
- Pressure-sensitive case, Configurable toggle was removed, Problems with iOS 8.1, Throttling of the CPU and GPU, Only LTE Cat
- 4, No Bluetooth 4.1, NFC without antennas can only be used in combination with Apple Pay, Signal noise of the Bluetooth connection when there is no sound, Power adaptor too...
Apple iPad Air 2 (4G) review: Small tweaks, big difference
Apple started with the size of the iPad. The Air 2 retains its 9.7in, 2048x1536 resolution screen, although it rests in a body that is 6mm thin. Turns out Apple has shaved the Air 2 down by 19 per cent.- Great performance
- Thin at 6mm
- Improved cameras
- Finger scanner
- Expensive
- Apple locks its ecosystem
Apple iPad Air 2
When the iPad first arrived on the scene it took the world by storm and basically brought the idea of tablets into the mainstream. Now, Apple is facing tough competition from other manufacturers and has seen their sales flatten out in the past couple years.- Reduced weight and thickness
- Incredibly fast performance
- Beautiful display with vibrant colors and deep blacks
- Potential issues with bending
- 16GB base model not worth the price
- No real improvement in battery life
Apple iPad Air 2
The Apple iPad is fading away, so it can make iOS apps even more visible. Apple's obsession with making its iPads thinner and thinner, lighter and lighter every year is a philosophical statement. The computer should disappear; all that should be left is the app.- Very thin and light
- Extremely fast processor
- Best app design and selection of any platform
- Cellular models can be switched between wireless carriers in software
- Expensive
- Battery life is just okay
The iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 review
The iPad Air 2 is Apple's most powerful tablet yet, and is incredibly thin and light. It's a solid upgrade over last year's Air, and should definitely be one of your top tablet considerations.- Beautiful
- thin aluminum design
- Incredibly powerful A8X chip
- Touch ID included
- Upgraded camera
- Touch ID now comes included
- Long battery life
- Good performance
- Battery life could be better
- Some will miss the mute switch
- Only a couple of upgrades
- Commands a $100 premium over last year's model
