Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 128GB - Space Grey MYML2X/A review
The eighth-generation iPad for 2020 isn’t a radical upgrade from the previous few versions of Apple’s cheapest tablet. But the company has done enough with new chips and software to keep it head and shoulders above the competition at a price point of about £300.- Pros: good performance
- good battery life
- good screen
- iPadOS
- plenty of apps
- good speakers
- long support
- recycled aluminium.
- Cons: older design
- no USB-C
- fairly slow charging
- no Fornite or cloud game streaming
- no multi-user support
- low storage on the starting model with no way to add more.
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 128GB - Space Grey MYML2X/A review
Apple’s latest iPad opts for evolution over revolution – and modest evolution at that. But it’s easier to accept when the end product is this good- Excellent
- decent-sized screen
- Useful iPadOS 14 features
- Keyboard support
- Few upgrades
- Limited stereo speakers
iPad 10.2in (2019) review
The 2019 iPad 10.2in gives potential newcomers to the Apple ecosystem little to complain about and much to fall in love with. “Entry-level Apple” now looks more appealing than it has in a long time.
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB Gold MW6G2X/A review
There is very little surprise or mystery left when it comes to Apple's iPad lineup. The tablets are a staple of Apple's hardware range -- an experience that's similar to your iPhone, only bigger, and in many ways more versatile.- Battery life
- Apple ecosystem and App Store
- iPadOS
- Affordably priced
- USB-C would have been nice
- 32GB of base storage
Apple iPad 7 Cellular (128GB, Silver) - Excellent review
I’m sitting in a cafe typing on what could be an expensive tablet. I’m using a physical keyboard, and the responsiveness is just as strong as using a laptop. I can write on this tablet, I can draw on it, and I can even watch movies and play games on this tablet.- Good performance, Great screen, Built very well, Supports Apple's Smart Keyboard Cover, Works with the Apple Pencil, Excellent value
- Isn't waterproof, Smart Keyboard Cover is very expensive in comparison to the iPad
Apple iPad (2019) review: Still the best affordable tablet money can buy
With its slightly larger screen and the introduction of the new iPadOS 13 operating system, the 2019 iPad is the safe, familiar and affordable iPad option. It lacks some of the speed and design points of the higher-end models, but that's why this is the perfect iPad option for many – as there's...- Affordable price point
- Apple Pencil support (1st Gen
- IPad OS great for multi-tasking apps
- Smart Connector means keyboard and accessories support
- Ideal performance for media consumption and apps
- Bezels a bit chunky
- Processor is fairly old in Apple terms
- No FaceID
- Not an anti-reflective screen
- No True Tone screen technology
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB Gold MW6G2X/A review
“The iPad with iPadOS is a great 2-in-1 at a great price.”- Good performance
- iPadOS greatly improves productivity
- Solid battery life
- Large screen
- 100% recycled aluminum enclosure
- Same design
- same 32GB base storage
- Smart Keyboard is expensive
Apple iPad 10.2-inch 2019
The basic budget iPad is good, and makes a strong case for spending as little as possible on an Apple tablet in 2019.- The 10.2-inch iPad has a larger display than before, supports a few snap-on keyboard accessories and is one of the most affordable devices in Apple's gadget lineup
- iPad OS works better than I expected and is well-optimized for the A10 processor
- The base 32GB of storage isn't enough, meaning you'll really be paying $429 for the 128GB model
- It's bigger and heavier than older model
- The A10 processor is aging
- It's similar to the previous iPad, which you can still get on sale
Apple iPad (2019)
The entry-level iPad is an excellent, relatively affordable all-purpose tablet. Add a Smart Keyboard and an Apple Pencil, and you have a solid productivity machine. It's not as powerful as any of the other iPads (including the $399 mini ), but it's the most affordable of the bunch and we expect it...- Larger display for better multitasking
- Smart Connector lets you use Apple's keyboard cover or third-party option
- iPadOS brings many software improvements
- Mediocre cameras
- Large bezels
