A pple had one major problem with their iPad range. The original tablets were good enough to last for years if kept in good condition, which is why the company introduced the Air and Pro ranges. Finally, after almost five years, the company launched the 5th-generation edition earlier in 2017.

Use it practically all day everyday!

What can I say This is one of the best purchases I've made for a long time. Screen is brilliant, not laminated I was told but side by side with my mothers iPad Air 2 you can hardly tell the difference, screen is brighter on this iPad than the air 2 too.Battery life is good, lasts most of the day...

Apple iPad 2017

Editors' note: The 2017 iPad reviewed here has been replaced by the a newer iPad introduced on March 27, 2018. The 2018 iPad adds compatibility with the Pencil stylus and a faster A10 processor. It sells for the same retail price as its 2017 predecessor, and is otherwise nearly identical.
Pros:
  • Apple's new iPad delivers faster performance and a brighter screen than the model it replaces, at a price that's about half as much as the iPad Pro
  • Tight integration between the hardware, software and app store makes it easy to use
Cons:
  • It's a bit thicker and heavier than the now defunct iPad Air 2
  • It lacks the stylus support, better speakers and better screen of the iPad Pro

this is not an iPad air 2 it's the 2017 model

this iPad has the A9 chip, which was in iphone 6s and 6s plus not the A10 chip in iphone 7's, and not he A8X chip the iPad air 2 has. it also does not have an anti-reflective screen and a laminated screen.

Apple iPad (2017) review

The new Apple iPad (2017) surprised everyone when it was revealed on 21 March. We were all expecting the iPad Air 3. At least, that's what all the rumours pointed towards. Instead what we got was a hybrid of the original iPad Air and the iPad Air 2 – simply called the iPad (2017).
Pros:
  • Cheap (for an iPad
  • Great performance
  • Generous storage
Cons:
  • Screen isn't as good as iPad Air 2

New iPad

My ancient ipad wouldn't work with the reader that I needed to use for online books for school. The new one works great. Apps that I use for online newspapers also work much better. Overall, it was a vast improvement.
