Bad Points: Wifi unreliable at best. I returned the unit in the end as I could not put up with it.

What a difference!
My ipad seemed rather heavy and I wanted to reduce the weight. It sure worked with this case. It makes it so streamlined and it really looks great also. I absolutely adore it. Thanks much.

The iPad is probably the most overhyped portable computing device since the iPhone. Although it's tempting to dismiss Apple's 9.7in touchscreen tablet computer as nothing more than a large iPod Touch, it's much more than that thanks to its larger, higher resolution screen.

There are two ways I could write this Apple iPad review: the pessimistic way or the optimistic way. For a device that has polarised the gadget community as to whether it is the "second coming" or merely "sucks", the thing that both approaches have in common is a chance to cause a debate.

- well built and attractive looking
- Great simplistic interface and very good onscreen keypad
- Great gaming experience
- Wealth of applications available
Cons:
- Expensive
- Lack of a front camera for chatting and such
- Lack of memory expansion as an option
- Display is prone to smudges
