Bad Points: Wifi unreliable at best. I returned the unit in the end as I could not put up with it.

Apple iPad
Full of ads and software that all farm your personal information, I downloaded a clock, it wanted permission to view and edit my contacts, can someone people tell me why a clock would need to see my contacts?

Bit of a let down
My wife wanted the iPad for Xmas. Personally I thought the Samsung Note was a better all rounder and £100 cheaper at the time, but had to admit that the iPad oozed quality. I bought her the iPad because its 'cool', looks good and has great write ups.

Apple Ipad
SOME ARE CALLING the Apple Ipad a potential replacement for the laptop , so we've put it to the test to see if it really lives up to expectations. At the Ipad's heart is an A4 chip which actually is fast.
Pros:
- Speedy A4 processor
- eye popping screen
Cons:
- Cost
- 3G option is even dearer
- Lack of expansion capabilities
- no peripheral ports
- inability to load software other than what's approved by Apple

Decent iPad.
It connects to a lot of neat accessories, like the iPad Keyboard Dock, which only enhances the tablet experience, combining Multi-Touch with traditional controls - a dream come true, for many Apple fans.

If it's cheap read the reviews before getting it
I didn't get a chance to use the iPad first generation because it was not working for me to be able to use that you have to have a SIM card and I didn't have a SIM card for it so it was worthless to me in other words it was a defected product

Amazing product exceeded all my expectations !
Amazing performance I am delighted with my iPad Pro. I was so delighted with it I purchased another one for a member of my family. It's so lightweight and the picture quality is so sharp.

On the eve of the launch of Apple's iPad, I am thinking of Ed Roberts. He never became a household name, but as the man behind the Altair computer - a kit for lunatic tech hobbyists released in 1975 - he was responsible for launching the microcomputer era.
Pros:
- Compact, cool-running, speedy - and a groundbreaking new way to consume media
- You already know how to use it
- Thousands of apps will make it more useful and fun
Cons:
- No multitasking means no gadgets or widgets: Does IM really need a full screen? Virtual typing is tricky when holding iPad upright
- No way to print directly
- Apps are only available from Apple's App Store
