Apple iPad Review
Breakfast in New York. Sitting in a booth at Cafe Habana, people are staring as I type emails on the iPad. For now, it grabs too much attention, for better or worse, with its big swoopy animations and skittles glow-erific screen. It's not as strange as if I were hammering away on a laptop.

Apple iPad REVIEW
The iPad, like most of Apple's product line, is a polarizing device. There are those that are going to love it no matter what, and a separate camp that will refuse to even touch one. I think I fall somewhere in between those two extremes. I was critical of the device when it was first launched...

Apple iPad Review
The big deal for me is that it is almost unheard of for me to gush over a gadget. I didn't do so with iPhone… Heck, I've gone back and forth several times liking it and not liking it. But that said, I have kept coming back to it because of the apps and ease of use.
Pros:
- Gorgeous display
- Long battery life
- Fast performance
- Great full screen apps
Cons:
- Lack of Flash web page support
- No 3rd party multitasking

Review: Apple iPad
On the eve of the launch of Apple's iPad, I am thinking of Ed Roberts. He never became a household name, but as the man behind the Altair computer - a kit for lunatic tech hobbyists released in 1975 - he was responsible for launching the microcomputer era.
Pros:
- Compact, cool-running, speedy - and a groundbreaking new way to consume media
- You already know how to use it
- Thousands of apps will make it more useful and fun
Cons:
- No multitasking means no gadgets or widgets: Does IM really need a full screen? Virtual typing is tricky when holding iPad upright
- No way to print directly
- Apps are only available from Apple's App Store
