I have moved up from a Minolta 10x25 to this binocular recently. First impression - it is well built, has a clear view and has the right balance of weight and magnification for birding all day. The strap and case are well designed.

I have owned many different Leica, Zeiss and Swarovski binoculars over the past forty years. I was considering purchasing the Zeiss Victory model but was lucky enough to try a pair of conquest 10x42 at a local optical warehouse. The quality of these glasses completely blew me away.

Outstanding optical performance and design. 10X magnification with depth and width of field comparable to Good 8X binoculars. Very fast focusing. This allows for very intuitive "Point & Shoot" characteristics (like 8X glasses) but with 10X detail.

Very happy I bought the Zeiss 10x42 Conquest HD Binocular a few weeks ago. I've taken them out birding a few times so far, and I'm very happy with them. I feel like I'm getting a very crisp, true image under all conditions.
