The Xiaomi Huami AmazFit Bip is a lightweight watch, so it's easy to wear. But inside that sleek design, there's a lot going on: GPS, barometer, geomagnetic sensor, PPG heart rate sensor and 3-axis accelerometer for activity, plus you can accurately track your runs, bike rides and other activities with detailed GPS routes and stats. Crucially, the watch also offers in-depth sleep tracking like duration, deep sleep and light sleep phases as well as awake times.

We have noticed that Xiaomi Amazfit Bip looks very similar to Apple Watch. If you don't know, Amazfit BIP is the smartwatch from Xiaomi produces with its partner Huami. So, we decided to compare design and main features of Amazfit BIP and Apple Watch, and find out which should you buy in 2018.
The Amazfit Bip is a triumph in low-cost wearable design. It's not for everyone – just for those looking to get started with fitness trackers on a budget.
It’s easy to dismiss the Amazfit Bip as a Christmas cracker Apple Watch imitator, but that would be doing it a disservice. Sure, it’s not going to win any originality awards for its design, but you should really be thinking about the Bip as a replacement for the now defunct Pebble Watch, or a rival to the Ticwatch E. It does all of the fitness tracker basics plus phone notifications. And while there are shortcomings in every department - the inability to respond to notifications, a lack of apps, soul-crushingly slow GPS, the slightly temperamental charging - I think they’re much easier to accept when you remember how much money you handed over. For casual fitness tracking, it’s great, and the battery life is (occasionally temperamental charging aside) absolutely superb. Put this way: when the Amazfit Bip is eventually succeeded on my wrist by the watch it most closely resembles, I think I might just miss it.

I didn't know what to expect from a $99 smartwatch. I certainly didn't expect a GPS or a heart rate monitor. I also didn't expect it to look much different from a traditional fitness tracker, since those devices come in closer to the $99 price point than most smartwatches available today.
