At the end of the day Wii Sports Clubs offers all Wii U owners the same brilliant motion-based gameplay experience - albeit two fifths of (for now) - that got the whole planet addicted back in 2006; but with a noticeable HD makeover and online multiplayer.
+ HD visuals makes all the difference; + Same enjoyable gameplay; + Online multiplayer - finally; + Is free to try for 24-hours
- No voice chat; - Can't easily invite friends to games; - Buying each sport is a little pricey
Although only an opinion, I believe Wii Sports Club is an attempt by Nintendo to rake in a few extra holiday dollars at a minimal production cost. The Wii Sports franchise still has appeal to the casual gamer, but I don't feel the online features will entice many of them to purchase Wii Sports Club...
With just over 80 million units of software sold, Wii Sports and its premise of motion gaming was synonymous with the original Wii's success in 2006 and beyond. In 2009, Nintendo released the sequel, Wii Sports Resort , which went on to sell over 31 million copies.
HD visuals add a layer of sheen; New modes are fun; Classic Wii sports gameplay; Clubs aspect is a good idea
Pricing model may not suit all; Lack of real GamePad functionality; No real sense of an online community; Lack of online options
Good point: Fun to play with your friends and family, classic Wii Sports in HD, cool Gamepad features, online mode. Bad points: online is often laggy, you need 2 Wii Remotes to play boxing (which I never knew before purchasing). It should have been half the price. But, overall, it's okay.

Wii Sports Club began life as a rather interesting eShop initiative by Nintendo, as sports from the original Wii pack-in were gradually released with multiple purchase options - timed passes for a small amount or a permanent pass for fairly standard download price.
You've all heard of Wii Sports by now. A genuine phenomenon in the world of games, one that you could play with your Nan, even if the swinging of the Tennis made her teeth fly out and land in the dog'
Wii Sports is an undeniably important game to the whole of gaming history. Its status as a pack-in with the original Wii was responsible for getting the console into millions of homes (and breaking a few TVs), but it also signaled a significant change in player demographics that had been a long time...
Easy-to-learn controls; Simple; fun games everyone can understand; Enhanced motion controls and new mini-games add greater precision
Online play is garbage; Awkward pricing structure; The GamePad detracts as much as it enhances
While this sports collection might feel like deja vu for some -- it's the same five games as in the original collection from 2006, after all -- the five re-imagined sports games for Wii U offer plenty of fun for the whole family.
