The question Nintendo is now asking, by releasing a high-definition, online-enabled update of its iconic, motion-controlled mini-game collection, is how many people are looking to pay $40, 8 years later, for essentially the same games?

Good point: Fun to play with your friends and family, classic Wii Sports in HD, cool Gamepad features, online mode. Bad points: online is often laggy, you need 2 Wii Remotes to play boxing (which I never knew before purchasing). It should have been half the price. But, overall, it's okay.
With just over 80 million units of software sold, Wii Sports and its premise of motion gaming was synonymous with the original Wii's success in 2006 and beyond. In 2009, Nintendo released the sequel, Wii Sports Resort , which went on to sell over 31 million copies.
HD visuals add a layer of sheen; New modes are fun; Classic Wii sports gameplay; Clubs aspect is a good idea
Pricing model may not suit all; Lack of real GamePad functionality; No real sense of an online community; Lack of online options
Although only an opinion, I believe Wii Sports Club is an attempt by Nintendo to rake in a few extra holiday dollars at a minimal production cost. The Wii Sports franchise still has appeal to the casual gamer, but I don't feel the online features will entice many of them to purchase Wii Sports Club...
At the end of the day Wii Sports Clubs offers all Wii U owners the same brilliant motion-based gameplay experience - albeit two fifths of (for now) - that got the whole planet addicted back in 2006; but with a noticeable HD makeover and online multiplayer.
+ HD visuals makes all the difference; + Same enjoyable gameplay; + Online multiplayer - finally; + Is free to try for 24-hours
- No voice chat; - Can't easily invite friends to games; - Buying each sport is a little pricey
I enjoy it, its fun for my family and its fun to be able to play this game with friends. If you like this kind of game then definitely check this one out.
