Nintendo Life

Wii Sports Club began life as a rather interesting eShop initiative by Nintendo, as sports from the original Wii pack-in were gradually released with multiple purchase options - timed passes for a small amount or a permanent pass for fairly standard download price.

Great family fun

We have two girls, aged 10 and 13, and this is really good fun for us to play all together. Recommend getting the proper wii motion plus remote, the normal remotes with the little attachment didn't seem to work with the game very well.

Moving in the wrong direction – Wii Sports Club review

Let me start by saying I love motion gaming. When Nintendo first launched the Wii in 2006, I jumped in headfirst and fully embraced the concept of playing games through movement.

Online multiplayer makes winning much more satisfying; Some creative use of the Gamepad in Golf and Baseball; Interesting minigame and training options

Feels like a lackluster remake of an old game; Boxing is awkward and unresponsive; Not enough variety; the five sports get old quick; Only Baseball and Golf utilize GamePad functions

Wii Sports Club

The question Nintendo is now asking, by releasing a high-definition, online-enabled update of its iconic, motion-controlled mini-game collection, is how many people are looking to pay $40, 8 years later, for essentially the same games?

Classic Wii Sports but has flaws.

Good point: Fun to play with your friends and family, classic Wii Sports in HD, cool Gamepad features, online mode. Bad points: online is often laggy, you need 2 Wii Remotes to play boxing (which I never knew before purchasing). It should have been half the price. But, overall, it's okay.
