I brought this and using as external storage for my Xbox One S, very easy to setup and not big hard drive at all. No fan keep it cool and turns off when I'm not using it. Plus with 4 tb have a ton space for all the video games I store on it.

The My Book offers huge amounts of storage. I purchased to provide a simple backup drive for my home computer - it's unobtrusive and simple to set up.

Bought for a HTPC/Plex server. Work as soon you plug it. After few days I look at the temperature and it was running a bit hot nothing major. Around same time a bad/weak sector was reported by Hard Disk Sentinel. But one bad/weak sector is nothing major as a problem still perform very well.

Excellent hard drive. Great read and write speeds. Recommend this one over the Seagate Back Up plus 8Tb external. I've bought both and can compare both. You won't go wrong buying this one over the competitor, the Seagate.

Good and fast work. but never place it vertically. Always put it on its side when it works. If it suddenly falls to the side you will lose your data !!

This hard drive WD but inside plastic box HITACHI; however it have good speed and it reliable hard drive; We recommend this brand and we use it in our business

bad design; Old "my book" style i like better
