Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Relatively slow small files performance counts against the Caviar Blue 1TB, leaving little reason to buy it unless you don't care about this or can find it cheaper.

Excellent drive
We all know that Western Digital these days are more reliable than Seagate, I've read that this drive is noisy which isn't true, it makes less of that crackling noise than any others unless pushed to its extreme and even then with my side case off its far less noisy than my Barracuda. If you are looking for a new HDD don't look any further than Western Digital.
