Space Marine's story opens high above the planet Graia, a forge world where much of the Imperial armies' weapons are manufactured. These include the ultimate war machine: Warlord class Titans - think MechAssault, but 3 times bigger. The planet is under siege from an invading Ork fleet.

This is a great game for less than $30. The campaign is on the shorter side but the Warhammer lore is fantastic as is the combat and gameplay. I didn't venture online but most people have no complaints with that aspect of the game. If you can score a copy for under $30 you will enjoy it.

The game is similar to Gears of war. The gameplay is fun and story is not that exceptional. Its a one time play, didn't check its online functionality perhaps its disabled now that THQ is out of business. But worth trying for its price and good gameplay.

The Warhammer 40,000 universe is one steeped in rich history and diverse, colourful storylines set in the far future, filled with a host of rather angry factions bent on destroying one another.

I enjoyed this game. It's basically like Gears of War (without the cover system) and a heavy focus on melee combat. Well worth a rent if you enjoy third person shooters.

This game totally lives up to the demo and exceeds my expectation in terms of playability and graphics it is a great portrayal of the 40k world and you wont be dissappointed until it ends far to prematurely after about 8 hrs game time, its not so much of a campaign as a foray, if it was a true...

Which new over-the-shoulder shooter features bulky armored soldiers and chainsaw-enhanced weapons? Everyone knows that the Gears of War and Warhammer 40K universes have similarly equipped heroes, so it's odd to see their latest installments debut weeks apart.

If you're a Warhammer 40,000 fan, you will love Space Marine more than a human baby. If you're new to the whole "41st Millennium" scene, though, you might be less forgiving about its 'tried and tested' approach to gameplay but will no doubt still enjoy it nonetheless.
