Better than previous
I like Vortex, so I was curious if shifting production from Japan to China would result in a worse quality of a "new" product. First of all, I have to say that the Japanese have built a brand new factory in China, and the leading staff are Japanese.

Vortex Razor HD 10x42
The Vortex Razor HD series was launched on the market in 2012 and not so long ago it represented the high-end, flagship line of that American producer. In 2019 it was suplemented by Razor UHD models but it remained in their product range.
Pros:
- shapely
- solid
- and stylish chasis made of magnesium composites
- wide field of view
- sensational correction of astigmatism
- very low chromatic aberration
- slight coma
- moderate brightness loss on the edge of the field
- sharp image up to over 90% of the field
- very good colour rendition
- high quality...
Cons:
- truncated exit pupils
