Vodafone Smart 4 Review
Made by a company called "Yulong" (no, we've never heard of them either), this is the rather cheap (£75 on Pay As You Go) Vodafone Smart 4.

Vodafone Smart 4 Power
If you crave a 4G phone, but can't afford a top-end handset like the Samsung Galaxy S5 as well as a pricey new data contract, cast your eyes over Vodafone's pair of more affordable 4G phones.
Pros:
- The Vodafone Smart 4 Power has 4G
- doesn't cost the Earth and its screen is big enough for you to enjoy videos on the move
Cons:
- Its screen is low resolution
- navigating around the Android interface can be sluggish
- the camera doesn't impress and it's not exactly pretty either

Vodafone Smart 4 Power review: A cheap 4G phone with a big screen
If your main concerns are fast 4G data speeds, a big screen for video and a cheap price, the Vodafone Smart 4 Power is worth a look. Its low-res screen, poor camera and slow interface mean your money could be better spent elsewhere, however. If you crave a 4G phone, but can't afford a top-end handset like the Samsung Galaxy S5 as well as a pricey new data contract, cast your eyes over Vodafone's pair of more affordable 4G phones. The Smart 4 Power is a 5-inch Android KitKat device that you can pick up only from Vodafone for £175 on pay as you go.
Pros:
- The Vodafone Smart 4 Power has 4G
- doesn't cost the Earth and its screen is big enough for you to enjoy videos on the move.
Cons:
- Its screen is low resolution
- navigating around the Android interface can be sluggish
- the camera doesn't impress and it's not exactly pretty either.

Vodafone Smart 4 Power review
Vodafone recently released a brace of own-brand 4G handsets (the other being the Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo ) and of the two, this is the big 'un, with a 5-inch screen and more powerful processor. But is it worth the extra cash? Chassis & screen Power and Turbo eh?
Pros:
- Sturdy build
- 4G
- not bad camera
- Android 4.4 KitKat
Cons:
- Screen could be better

Vodafone Smart 4 Power
Budget smartphones have been steadily growing in size of late, with first the Asus Zenfone 5 and then the Motorola Moto G 2 moving up to 5in displays for less than £200. The Vodafone Smart 4 power is the latest handset to join the club, but it has one feature its rivals lack: 4G.

Vodafone Smart 4
Vodafone's no stranger to the budget blower arena, with last year's Smart III providing fairly decent bang for buck, but a lot has changed in the span of a year. Motorola's Moto G is the reigning champion when it comes to low-priced mobiles, and the recent 4G addition has only boosted its longevity.

Vodafone Smart 4 Power review
As with a growing number of handsets such as the HTC Desire 510 , EE Kestrel and Motorola Moto G 4G , the Vodafone Smart 4 Power brings 4G capability with a sub £200 price tag. On Vodafone's own online store the Smart 4 Power is being sold for £120, making it a good deal cheaper than the HTC Desire...

The Vodafone Smart 4 improves on last year's model with a better processor and larger screen, but it simply can't compete with the ever-growing range of budget blowers that offer you plenty of bang for buck.
Pros:
- We've got to hand it to Vodafone, as for a low-cost handset, the Smart 4 actually looks and feels much more premium than the £75 price-tag attached
- That said, it is a still a plastic affair, and doesn't hold a candle to other phones in the same price range, such as the Moto G or Nokia's latest...
Cons:
- While the Smart 4 shines with its robust build quality, stock Android and screen size, its actual display falls short of the sharp 720p panel we're spoiled with on the Moto G
- With a paltry resolution of just 854 x 480, it falls short of the HD quality we're used to seeing on many similar priced...
