As bizarre a mix of genres, art style, and subject matter as you could ever hope to see. But it all works together surprisingly well and this remaster is well deserved.

Fantastic game so under-rated a shame they made 2 and 3 on ps vita i can only hope one day they make them viable on PS4 as I would love to continue on the story. That is not to say the game doesn't end well it does

A must play PS3 action strategy title remastered for the PS4. Has a great story, more personality than you can shake a controller at, and is an all around great game. Unless you hate strategy.

Valkyria Chronicles was originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2008. It was well received and spawned two sequels and an anime series. After playing this game and getting to know the characters (even crying at the death of one of them), I'm interested in seeing the anime.

But the real reason to buy is that all content that was previously DLC only, is now included in the disc.

The theme is a grand and mighty one: freedom and the fight against oppression from bigger nations. Placed in an alternative version of Europe in 1953, Valkyria Chronicles Remastered lets you play as a small nation squashed between two empires waging war against each other.

After capturing the hearts of a relatively small audience back in 2008 on the PS3, SEGA has decided to have another crack at bringing Valkyria Chronicles, a unique piece in their collection, back in remastered form for the PlayStation 4.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is a trip down memory lane. I'm glad to see Sega giving the title and the series a second chance with its release on the PS4. The same great experience remains intact, but with the added dlc and trophy support.
