I bought this phone for my home office. My requirements where that it had to have hands free speaker support and caller id. I already have a Panasonic cordless as the main home phone so I know my Caller ID works. This phone is really nice, large button and nice large display that even with my aging eyes I can see without glasses. That's why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1. The display just wouldn't show the caller ID though nor would it count any missed calls. It's possible that I had a faulty unit but there were no more in stock when I returned it. This is one of the only "plain" corded phones I could find. I am often in very long calls and have yet to find a cordless phone that lasts. This Uniden is corded so battery life isn't an issue. Haven't found any drawbacks yet. This phone has many features that I don't use.

Good volume, updates itself once plugged in, so no need to try and set times & dates!
