One glaring omission from the Uncharted world during the main four games of the series was Chloe Frazer. She first appeared in Uncharted 2 as a central character and moved on and also appeared during the first few chapters of Uncharted 3 .
Pros:
- Immaculately designed world
- Unique story with brilliant character interaction between Chloe and Nadine
- The central antagonist is menacing and believable
- Satisfying and complex puzzles
- Breathtakingly beautiful
- Long and satisfying runtime
- Well realised open-world section
Cons:
- Some of the dialogue between Chloe and Nadine can feel a bit stinted
- Not much new in the gameplay department

A worthy encore – Uncharted: The Lost Legacy review
We said our heartfelt goodbyes to Nathan Drake and his family in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, spelling what we thought was the end for Naughty Dog's amazing series, but as luck would have it, there are still stories to tell.
Pros:
- Excellent story that doesn't infringe on the closure of Uncharted 4
- Nadine is a fantastic sidekick
- Chloe becomes more relatable through slow-burn revelations
- Improved stealth and gunplay
- More open-world adventure than linear
Cons:
- Infrequent framerate wobble on stock PS4

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
It might be shorter – as reflected in the price – but The Lost Legacy is a great Uncharted and a dazzling example of a studio at the top of its game. To be honest, I wouldn't have believed that Chloe and Nadine could make such fantastic, sympathetic protagonists or that Naughty Dog could stretch the...
Pros:
- The same great Uncharted gameplay
- Chloe and Nadine make great protagonists
- Astonishing visuals
- Huge set-pieces and ingenious world design
- Leaves you wanting more
Cons:
- More of the same (if mostly in a good way

Review: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
As a new beginning for the Uncharted series, it's hardly surprising that The Lost Legacy doesn't quite scale the transcendent heights of its predecessor. You just don't yet have the same weight of affection for Chloe and Nadine as you did for Nate and Elena.

Review: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a thought-out standalone title that proves Nathan Drake is one man in a much bigger world, while I will miss his adventures and his quips, the potential of exploring a wondrous world full of ancient secrets with such strong characters is what matters.
Pros:
- Improved mechanics
- Good banter between Chloe and Nadine
- Puzzles are great
- Good soundtrack

When I wrapped up the 7-8 hours of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy I was sort of blown away with how polished and enjoyable the experience was. At times, Uncharted 4 felt a little combat heavy for me, but The Lost Legacy feels like it does a better job of balancing traversal, combat, and puzzles.

The Lost Legacy is both Naughty Dog's fun farewell to the Uncharted franchise, and a pitch for where it could go next. The smaller scale works for such swashbuckling adventures, and its more open-plan design shows how the series should evolve.
