Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is now available for the Nintendo Switch and it packs a serious nostalgia punch. When this game was first announced I was surprised to hear it was coming to Switch but with me being a big Street Fighter II fan I was thrilled.

S treet Fighter II is seen as one of the best and most important games of all time. The original game garnered so much praise and developed such a large audience that it quickly became a re-release machine for Capcom.

As I stressed above, the question of Ultra‘s worth is hard to peg. Some might be thrilled to have yet another iteration of Street Fighter II to tool around with, while others will be less than pleased to play this decades-old game once more.

Despite all that I said about the modes, Ultra Street Fighter II is still a great fighting game. There is the caveat though, that you'd have to be either a huge fighting game fan in general, or a big Street Fighter fan in particular, to really bother with this one.
