I bought this hard drive to backup my PS4 and then restore the backup onto my new PS4... did exactly what I needed it to do and was easy to format.

I bought this product 2 years before. I think that writing a review immediately after you recieve a product is of no use. The product will work fine anyways. The hdd is best i have ever bought. It contains 2 modes. one for USB 2.0(white) and other for USB 3.0(blue). hdd is handy and light weight.

The high speed 5400 rpm hard drives are usually susceptible to data error especially if you carry it around, drop it or bump it while in operation but most new hard drives like Toshiba, Seagate, Western Digital have shock protection and recovery software to retrieve damaged files.

Stopped working (clinking noise, wouldnt mount,) 363 days after purchase. With light use. Essentially a disposable, temporary drive and not to be trusted.

Got this to store my photos and music. So far it works great and easy to use, plug and load within 30 seconds. Hopefully this will last me a while.
