at $5 or under this is a must buy. Netbook playable. Good graphics.

I bought this game because steam didn't have the pet ferret on the DLC. Also it is playable with out internet and comes in handy to pass the time. Not much to dislike. I guess if I were to harp on something I would ask for a bigger playable levels.

Not just a clone of Diablo

A lot of people would say TL is just a clone of Diablo, but what they don't know is that the team from Blizzard who originally worked on Diablo 1 & 2 are the creators of Torchlight. While I have not completed the game yet, I have enjoyed the time I put into it.

The In-Between of Diablo 2 & 3

Hack-&-Slash with ease. Easy to learn interface, nice polygon graphics, vast modding potential, low PC requirements and cheap.[...]While I wait for D3 from Blizzard, this should keep me busy for a long time.

Challenging; Easy to Learn; Gameplay; Graphics; Great Sound

No Multiplayer Mode; No Online Play

Review – Torchlight

I don't think I mind the idea of constant clicking and small bursts of instant gratification, provided they have something of a point. For example, I wouldn't mind rapid bouts of clicking on enemies to ensure that my attacks or strategies have the best chance of working.

DIABLO III: THE PG VERSION

This game sure comes with some serious pedigree: Travis Baldree, designer of Fate , and Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer, co-designers of Diablo I & II put their heads together and came up with an action hack&slash isometric RPG game that can appeal to all ages.

Torchlight Review (PC)

Stuck in the Dark Who enjoyed Diablo? Why do I ask this question? Well, it will be something that, as a player, will strongly influence how you view Torchlight. Released in 2009, this was a title that I hadn't even heard of until a friend pointed me in its direction.

Comfortable; familiar; control system; Nice graphics; Decent Storyline

Nothing new; Fairly repetitive; Laggy on older machines

Torchlight

It's been a great month for the loot-hungry among you. Borderlands exploded onto the scene with a policy of "Diablo with guns", meeting with much success in the interim. Now Runic Games – a new team made up of former Blizzard North employees, who worked on the original Diablo – bring us action-RPG...

GAME REVIEW – Torchlight (PC)

If you'd have told me that a game with system requirements so low that a Casio pocket calculator could probably run it outsold the indomitable Modern Warfare 2 , I would have probably given you a bit of a slap and told you to stop telling porkies. But apparently it's true!

Torchlight review

Some of you may have heard of a game called Diablo , which was released back in 1997. This dark, fantasy-themed action-RPG was released by some unknown company going by the name of "Blizzard", who we believe may have gone on to big things since (some little project called World of Warcraft ,...
