The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD review
That's not a fitting fate for this Zelda and certainly not for this Link, with all his vivid urgency. It's why we need excellent re-releases like this. Just like its young hero, The Wind Waker is crisp and energetic, spirited and soulful, just a little bit wayward - and it hasn't aged a day.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD review
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker may have had some vocal detractors pre-release, but the years since it came to the GameCube have been remarkably kind. The original high seas variation on Link's epic adventures is so worthy of all the praise heaped upon it that a remake hardly seems necessary.
Pros:
- Uniquely gorgeous visuals
- Iconic adventure gaming that's yet-to-be truly improved upon
- Fixes to its few real flaws
Cons:
- Some shortened-yet-still-unavoidable fetch quests
- A few reused boss battles

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
What impresses me more then the visual/gameplay updates is the fact that Wind Waker HD still can compete with any new game on the market today. The story is charming, the characters warm your heart, and the game remains as one of the best 3D adventure games to date.

Upon its initial reveal, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was lambasted by fans and critics. With a new producer and a completely new graphical art style The Wind Waker was a divisive game. Over time however, people's opinions have changed and we've all grown to love what Wind Waker has become.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Review | A Classic Re-Awakened
For those of you who remember reading the Dealspwn Game of the Year 2012 Highlights will remember me stating that my most anticipated game for this year would be a Zelda Wii U game.
Pros:
- Gorgeous visuals throughout
- Great dungeon design and puzzles
- Fantastic soundtrack
- Emotion and humour not normally seen in Zelda games
- Improvements solve major issues with original
- Hero Mode makes it feel like a true Zelda game again
Cons:
- If you hated the original
- chances are you still won't like this
- With all that water
- there's still no fishing mini-game

I have not seen a better SD to HD transition than that of The Wind Waker. On top of the beautiful way this game looks in high resolution, Nintendo has tweaked an already brilliant game just a little to make it even better.

Solid up-port
This is perhaps one of the best looking games of all time due to it's fantastic art direction. Really is a hard game to fault gameplay is awesome, music is spectacular and the adventure is terrific.

The old good new
This is must have for all Zelda fans, old & new! If you own WiiU this is must play game, does not matter if you are old geek or fresh noob. Story about brother and his sister... Ride the wind, sail on the sea, explore the islands and dungeons... and save the girls!

Nintendos new console.
Nintendos new console is much better than the original Wii. Game pad is excellent and can be used to play games on instead of the TV, with a single button press it instantly switches. (Very handy if someone wants to watch TV) All old Wii games and controls also work with Wii U.
Pros:
- Sleek
- professional looking
- sturdy and easy to set up
- Game has to be downloaded and takes over an hour
