The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Review
The Wii U has been struggling in the absence of a system seller, and a Legend of Zelda game would normally do the trick and turn the tides in favor of Nintendo's new console. But these aren't normal circumstances, and this Legend of Zelda game isn't a new entry but a HD remastering of the most...- Cartoony
- cel-shaded visuals look absolutely gorgeous in HD
- Link's quest here is more fun and a lot more light-hearted than other Zelda games
- Inventory awesomely accessible through the GamePad's screen
- Epic boss fights
- especially the final showdown with Ganondorf
- Tons of exploration
- Too much back and forth during the later quests in the game
- Clunky camera and a targeting system that gets in the way of itself

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Against all odds and prognostications, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has aged terrifically, and remains a top-tier 3D Zelda title. Lambasted even before its release in 2003 because of its "kiddy" cel-shaded art style, the game practically invites an overhasty assessment.

Easy on the Eyes
So I suppose there's a story on this game for me. To start off I never even finished the original. Even with the expensive component cable I just couldn't get into the game. It was full screen and pixelated! Now, because the games in high definition, I gave it a better chance.
Link's no stranger to remasters and remakes. For what are his adventures but repeat tales of a young boy awakening old magics, or restoring swords to their former glory? Okay, so Zelda producer, Eiji Aonuma, didn't collect three magic orbs/metals/songs in order to port
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD review
We didn't think The Wind Waker could get any more beautiful, but this refined Full HD remake proves us wrong
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
It's a little steep in price but you get a big and beautiful adventure that easily stands up against current-gen AAA titles. A sensitive update that does everything that it should, putting an extra sheen of polish on an already worthy title.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Wii U) Review – Now This is How You Remake a Game
Back in the early days of the GameCube I didn't have access to the Internet and often found myself purchasing games blindly off the shelf taking a gamble without any knowledge of what I was about to play.
