Unusable

The disc itself works BUT since this is a USED COMPUTER GAME it needs a product key # to work. Basically only the original owner of this disc can play this game. So I purchased something which I could simply not use. The seller was really understanding and gave me a full refund.

According to Square Enix, the PC version will include features previously not available on the original Xbox 360 release

The PC has not provided a home to many Japanese role-playing games, and when it has, the results have been uneven. How refreshing, then, that The Last Remnant is such an entertaining experience.

A long; epic tale in a fascinating new fantasy world; Fun; uniquely strategic battle system; Gorgeous musical score; Beautiful art design

Some texture pop-in and screen tearing; Battle system can be obtuse

Square Enix's best RPG since Final Fantasy X

First things first: from what I understand from what I have read, get the PC version rather than the XBox one. There are apparently annoying bugs in the XBox version. To be honest, I struggle to review things I like, compared to those I have issue with.

Review: The Last Remnant (PC)

PC owners can finally see the lush and interesting world of The Last Remnant as it was intended, as this new edition almost entirely corrects the issues which diminished the 360 version so greatly.

Completely Average

Completely average game, nothing special about it at all. If you really are a fan of Square Enix than by all means buy this game. If not, well there are better alternatives.

Game looks good; Solid game hours (meaning the actual storyline minus side quests takes a bit of time to do)

For an RPG, you don't do too much exploring as you will spend 90% of the time in battle; Oversimplified battle system; Aside from setting formations, battles require next to no skill
