"I, for one, welcome our new car overlords"
An odd mix of Test Drive Unlimited, Assassin's Creed, and Destiny. And while the combination is tastier than it sounds it also has an awful lot of lumps in it.
The open world map is a hugely impressive achievement, both technically and artistically; The mission design is generally good and everything can be played with friends
The handling model is not very satisfying and the computer opponents alternate between frustrating and boring; Ranking system discourages personal skill and encourages repetition
We've got the feeling that we'll come across as grumpy in this review, so let's make one thing clear from the start: The Crew is an above average racing game that we've had a great deal of fun with.
The Crew has been an interesting case throughout the lifespan of its development. To begin with, everyone positioned it ads one of the biggest racing games to release on the "future generation" of consoles.
Car customization is executed upon fairly well; Tons of potential
Story is a joke; Handling is too loose; Feels stuck in the past; Map design is lazy and misleading; Co-op leaves something to be desired
The Crew is a very ambitious racing game for the PlayStation 4 that requires players to infiltrate an illegal racing street gang known as the 5-10s as they drive around the country from Los Angeles to Miami Florida in order to find out who was responsible for your brother's death.
After some public launch hiccups for the latest addition to Ubisoft's super-popular stealth franchise, many were calling for the company to visit Madam Guillotine for its poor handling of such a big launch.
Massive game; +Arcade Fun; +Plenty to explore; +Good varied soundtrack
Dire story -Cluttered UI; -Without friends could get old quick
The Crew is, ironically, a game held back by its own ambition. It wants to be an MMO where everybody is permanently locked inside their cars which, while somewhat odd, is an interesting idea.
Graphic is awesome game play boring and the link up crap we really need a game that says if your advertising was as good as the game then I'm in. it doesn't live up to it. we need a mix of toca/v8/NFS/ and Horizon all in one game that would be the game to play sorry didn't rock my boat needs more...
The Crew has some issues but overall it is a pretty fun car RPG where you will get what you put in to it.
I found myself enjoying the story, the online co-op, and the free roam open world; however, but what made me absolutely hate this game was the following:(1.) The AI. If you hate the rubber band effect, you'll hate the AI on this game.
