The Crew, for me at least, was a repetitive let down with over aggressive Police AI and frankly, not that much to do despite so many activities and locales. I loved how you could drive the entire USA, but in all that land there really wasn't that much to do besides races and the odd speed or slalom...

Unintentionally, The Crew has one particular trait in common with Ubisoft's other recent title Far Cry 4 : It's better when it's not analyzed in depth. At best, this open-world racer is a road trip fantasy, giving you the freedom to drive smoothly and briskly across its condensed, slightly deformed...

It's a game that requires and occasionally enforces patience, but like all great road trips it's about the journey, not the destination.

The Crew has been an interesting case throughout the lifespan of its development. To begin with, everyone positioned it ads one of the biggest racing games to release on the "future generation" of consoles.
