Worst game ever. I pre-order every PS4 game. Will stay far away from Beenox. This should have been last gen only. Graphics was horrible and glitches were everywhere. I felt like I was playing an alpha.

The controls aren't stable, and at times the automated camera angles are awful to the point of being distracting. This game was obviously rushed out to fit with the movie release schedule. There is just so much it could do, and almost does. I loved the web swinging, the graphics and the movement...
Awesome web swinging motion, totally flawless ; Runs well on PS4, very little lag
Rushed ; Game feels buggy at times, incomplete, Camera angles sometimes awful
An unlikely mix of the bland, the predictable, and the surprisingly excellent – which only makes the mediocre end result all the more frustrating.
The web-swinging is near perfect and arguably the best it's ever been in a Spider-Man game, despite a few fudges here and there; For once the alternate suits serve a real purpose
Banal, mindless combat and horribly uninspired missions and side quests; Laughably inept storytelling, unimpressive visuals, and unfair hero/menace mechanic
Im a huge spidey fan so was really looking forward to this but just finished the game and the storyline has 8hours gameplay on it on medium difficulty. Does not relate to the film.
It's like a part of me has died. I should probably explain. I love Spider-Man. Out of all the superheroes, he's the one that I immediately identified with as a kid. He's the one I watched through cheap cartoons and lousy live-action TV shows.
There is potential here. I don't know if it was time, money or the will, but it could have been special. The combat isn't far off decent, it's just a shame that it's tied to the rest of the package.
As flawed as Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is, its video-game counterpart is even more of a disappointment. Developer Beenox seems to be getting worse at devising Spidey games as they go along, delivering a final product that has all the problems of 2012's shoddy tie-in and then some.
is that it's only doing an acceptable job of rehashing the core mechanics of Treyarch's ten-year-old title, as well as bogging everything down with...
Web-swinging is occasionally good; Sharp texturing on Spider-Man; One of the villains (spoiler redacted
Terminally dull; Bland visuals; Choppy framerate; Boring combat
For nearly a decade I have been reviewing Spider-Man games. During those years Spidey has seen his share of ups and downs but ever since developer Beenox took over the franchise, Spider-Man has consistently delivered a solid web slinging experience.
This game could've been a lot better. The graphics are disappointing, the story is confusing and all over the place, the gameplay is clunky, and the voice acting is low-standard. If there's one thing i like about this game, it's the line-up of villains. Spider-Man has a great list of foes to defeat!
