Im a huge spidey fan so was really looking forward to this but just finished the game and the storyline has 8hours gameplay on it on medium difficulty. Does not relate to the film.

Again releasing alongside the movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an action adventure title with open world elements that draws on the franchise and has some loose connections to the film which shares the same name. Your The Amazing Spider-Man 2 adventure follows along with Peter Parker as he hun...
Swing across the city – Plenty of customes
Dull AI and combat – Plot is all over the place
is yet another example of what happens when games are rushed out to coincide with a movie release date. It's especially frustrating because the web swinging really is fun, but developer Beenox wasn't able to keep the momentum going once you hit the ground.
Much-improved swinging; Nice costumes
Combat's no fun; Dull Peter Parker segments; Incoherent plot
Spider-Man has been amazing, spectacular, and most recently superior. Now he can add sloppy to his list of titles. While developer Beenox hasn't really up kept a solid stewardship of Spider-Man, the last Amazing Spider-Man game proved to be a fun romp in the big apple.
When 2004's Spider-Man 2 hit theaters, the video game tie-in was an example of how licensed products could be done right. Ten years later, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is on the big screen, but this time the game is just an empty commercial cash-in.
Forgiveness is not a rational choice. Emotions are what cause us to waver in our beliefs, to brush aside a questionable act from a loved one or to put blinders on when the truth overwhelms us. The idea of forgiveness is endemic to what The Amazing-Spider 2 is.
Enjoyable representation of Spider-Man; Satisfying boss fights
Tedious side missions; Combat is too simple for its own good; Movement lacks precision
Nearly two years, the Amazing Spider-Man film rebooted the franchise and its video game incarnation hit stores to a lukewarm response. The previous generation's Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man games were the apex of the wall-crawlers gaming exploits, but ASM's dev Beenox did a bangup job with...
Since the ye olde days of the Gamecube and Ps2, Spider-Man 2 stood above all other movie license games as Upstanding, Huge, Creative and Nearly UNRESTRICTED by means of having your web swinging be natural especially when you master it in the manual settings.
For nearly a decade I have been reviewing Spider-Man games. During those years Spidey has seen his share of ups and downs but ever since developer Beenox took over the franchise, Spider-Man has consistently delivered a solid web slinging experience.
Does whatever a spider… ah hell, forget it.
Boss battles are varied and interesting; Open world web swinging is fun...
Character animations are just plain creepy; Game is stuttered by multiple loading points; Combat system lacks polish; Open world lacks polish; Game overall just lacks polish
