Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a hard game to categorize. If it's meant to be a movie tie-in game, it misses the mark completely; Peter Parker doesn't look or sound like Andrew Garfield and the movie villains are only dropped in briefly, making them feel like a complete afterthought.

An unlikely mix of the bland, the predictable, and the surprisingly excellent – which only makes the mediocre end result all the more frustrating.

The web-swinging is near perfect and arguably the best it's ever been in a Spider-Man game, despite a few fudges here and there; For once the alternate suits serve a real purpose

Banal, mindless combat and horribly uninspired missions and side quests; Laughably inept storytelling, unimpressive visuals, and unfair hero/menace mechanic

Graphics are disgusting, story is not good & gameplay is hell..... Only the graphics of Spiderman is is good... I wasted my 2499 And plz don't buy it.!

I bought this for my grandson. He loves Spiderman and, so do I. We both like all Marvel comic heroes. I think he got that from me. Anyway this is a great game, buy it and see for yourself.

As flawed as Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is, its video-game counterpart is even more of a disappointment. Developer Beenox seems to be getting worse at devising Spidey games as they go along, delivering a final product that has all the problems of 2012's shoddy tie-in and then some.

Should you get this? Only if you want to return it later. The story is crappy, the free roam is the best EVER, but that is ruined by the Menace/hero system in which you HAVE to complete mini missions unless you wanna get shot out of the sky by robots.

Bought this game as it was on sale at a great price, then continued to the checkout to then see I had club card vouches at covered pretty much the whole price, making it even cheaper for me in the end up. Great game, great price.

Since the ye olde days of the Gamecube and Ps2, Spider-Man 2 stood above all other movie license games as Upstanding, Huge, Creative and Nearly UNRESTRICTED by means of having your web swinging be natural especially when you master it in the manual settings.

No faults within the game its self, everything works fine e.g. web slinging and combat however game is short and side missions are severely repetitive. Definite play for spidey fans!
