It's ok, we know Terraria has been out for ages. You might remember the ‘Evening With' piece Tim and I constructed together last June, where we delved into the game's multiplayer mode and shot a few basic videos.

Terraria

Terraria is a dangerous game. It lures you in with strong promises of large scale fights and unique items and doesn't ever let you go. Many people are quick to dismiss Terraria because of its immediate similarities to Minecraft, and these people are really doing themselves a disservice.

Exploring Terraria A Second Time

Welcome Time Wasters! This week I went back to play a game that I've already reviewed once before, Terraria. Normally I wouldn't review a game twice, but Terraria recently had a huge update (Version 1.2) that came out and added tons of extra content.

Dig in.

An old man awaits at the entrance of a dungeon. Stricken by a mysterious curse, he urges you to return after the sun has set, to free him of the madness that has infected his body.

Constant string of enticing rewards; In-depth crafting system lets you make all the weapons and items you need; Terrifying boss battles; Huge worlds begging to be explored; Perfect fit for a handheld system

No way to disable back touch

Terraria Review (PlayStation Vita)

I rationally know that if I venture too far or insist on exploring at night, I will get eaten by some powerful and brutish creature, but there's so much 2D space to cover and dominate that Terraria instills a spirit of exploration that's never fully satisfied.

+ Occasions for creativity; + Art style

- Can become frustrating; - The tutorials are not very helpful

"Probably the best Indie game i have ever played."

This is the best indie game i have ever played. You can play it just as you want, you can explore almost unlimited places and go to the top. you get at least 100 hours of gaming time and its very good pixelart. I would recomend it to everyone in the world who likes rpg multiplayer and exploring.

Its the best rpg in the world; so many items; so many bosses; very unique

multiplayer can be difficult to set up

Enjoyable but Tutorial is Lacking

People compare this to Minecraft. While I''ve not played Minecraft, the videos I''ve seen of it only put this game in the same genre, not a clone. At its heart the game is a 2-D platformer in the style of Mario brothers. You do a lot of digging and mining, but there''s quite a bit else to do.

"Low System Requirements; "Pretty Fun

"Needs Better Tutorial; "Somewhat Tedious
