As a replacement for an old usb adapter you couldn't get any better for the price. I bought this for a client who had no IT skills what so ever, and within minutes had his rig on line. This adapter has fantastic coverage and can help to lessen the dead spots you sometimes get with a Wi-Fi setup.
This product arrives quickly and works well. I recommend letting windows handle the configuration of the device once you get it working. TP Link's configuration device (TWCU.exe) was causing other programs to lose focus and minimizing fullscreen programs which made me cry a lot.
I have purchased two of these, one for my parents who live in a house in the suburbs and one for myself. Theirs seems to be doing a great job with the router being installed in the basement, one floor below the desktop. Mine, however, is a different story.

IF your are a pen tester pls dont buy this product.For a daily usage need this is good product, but for using this product in linux based system is not recommendable. its very hard to find driver for this device .

The TP-LINK Wifi manager appears to permanently disable/break something (never found what) preventing Windows from connecting through the device in any way other than the TP-LINK software, even after the Software was uninstalled.
Has an Atheros Chipset; so it's almost guaranteed to work with Linux
TP-LINK Wifi Manager is trash.
