"...bought a high gain dongle TP-Link TL-WN722N at £8.11from Amazon back in Dec 2013. Unfortunately a month later it had developed an intermittent fault. The fault was occasional loss of signal that it required to unplug the dongle and the plug it back again.

IF your are a pen tester pls dont buy this product.For a daily usage need this is good product, but for using this product in linux based system is not recommendable. its very hard to find driver for this device .

I just grabbed this unit for my sister's computer which would not have a wired internet connection. Works great so far and there has been no emotions spent during setup. This is definitely not the newest and bad-a** wifi adapter... but hey, it does the job.

I had another USB extended range device, but it did not work very well. Replaced this older unit with this product and it worked very well. Installed with no issue and connected with no issue.

Had this working for a month now. Easy to set up, good signal strent.

I have purchased two of these, one for my parents who live in a house in the suburbs and one for myself. Theirs seems to be doing a great job with the router being installed in the basement, one floor below the desktop. Mine, however, is a different story.

Excellent for those who want wireless connectivity to their desktops. Good signal strength and data transfer speeds. Way better than some of thosw cheat usb dongles.

It works in Windows XP after I installed the drivers. Also, the device receives fair signal from router which is currently away from my room.
