I've bought several wireless clients from TP-LINK and was impressed by their quality. After I crushed a nano-USB Wifi adapter, I decided to try this because it looked sturdier. It seems to be built OK. However, I don't get very good reception with it.
Inexpensive; Compact size.Linux compatible.
Poor connection at a distance from WAP
Unfortunately, this device falls in the category of "too good to be true". Yes, Wi-Fi works despite its tiny chicklet size, but it quickly overheats in less than an hour (sometimes as little as 10-15 minutes) and disconnects.
I just received the product and so far it is working great. Thank you for your help and products.
I have had a smart HDTV for a couple of years now and late last year the internet would no longer connect. I didn't use the TV internet much so it wasn't something I was worried about.
Revolutionary
Not cheap
I would recommend this product Wireless USB for everyone who has a computer without wireless internet access. It was easy to use and set up from router. The value of it was excellent and the quality of it was excellent. I needed it to access wireless internet.
Performs as advertised.
An easy setup, compact design and high-end performance. Perfect for laptops on-the-go. The TP-LINK 150Mbps Mini Wireless N USB Adapter...
I plugged it into my USB port on my Desktop which is right next to the router, and I swear my internet speed picked up even though I'm still plugged into the router, It's like it's running faster than my built in Ethernet card, so I'm running them both !
