This works well, I am a long way from the main computer and I pick up reception, although I bought it because I thought it would have better reception than my old one, but it is about the same.

Adapter works fine, but in comparison with my other 3 USB adapters and built-in ones, it did not provide much of a signal level that I didn't already have. I tried several angles of the antenna with the adapter on the USB extension cord supplied and in a number of hotspot locations.

Only very quick test... but plugged it into older Dell Optiplex SFF system running Ubuntu 16.04 and was immediately recognized and just worked. Offered good signal strength.

For a Linux based system, it just-works; However, there was some research put into selecting this device for that reason

As mentioned by others, it's a bit big; When placing directly into the PC, it does obscure the adjacent USB ports, Depending on the orientation of the USB ports, the antenna may face down into the table/floor surface as was the case on my SFF Dell computer.

Im using it on an old Dell Windows XP machine. It went from box to working in under 5 minutes. I didnt need to learn anything about it.

When I plugged it in it wasn't immediately recognized by the computer, although I don't believe I read anywhere that it was plug and play, after inserting the CD the computer did its thing for about 10 seconds and the card turn itself on with a perfect...

Just a heads up to anyone buying this for cyber security training purposes. I bought this specifically to use with pen testing/wifi hacking tools as recommended by various blogs/reviews.

i got the supposed n150, and the actual tested max speed under optimal condition is around 45 megabits down. so that's around 1/3rd of the advertised bandwidth. i guess the price does kind of match a similar 50mbits down dongle made in the west. edit: the product has stopped working after 4 months

This surprisingly inexpensive wireless adapter couldnt be easier to install--just plug it into a free USB port. The computer (Win 10 Pro) recognized and installed it immediately, and it worked right from the start. I have not used it much yet, but so far it seems good to go.
