Only very quick test... but plugged it into older Dell Optiplex SFF system running Ubuntu 16.04 and was immediately recognized and just worked. Offered good signal strength.

For a Linux based system, it just-works; However, there was some research put into selecting this device for that reason

As mentioned by others, it's a bit big; When placing directly into the PC, it does obscure the adjacent USB ports, Depending on the orientation of the USB ports, the antenna may face down into the table/floor surface as was the case on my SFF Dell computer.

It works.

I received this in the mail ahead of schedule. When I plugged it in it wasn't immediately recognized by the computer, although I don't believe I read anywhere that it was plug and play, after inserting the CD the computer did its thing for about 10 seconds and the card turn itself on with a perfect...

Realtek chipset, can't be placed in monitor mode

Just a heads up to anyone buying this for cyber security training purposes. I bought this specifically to use with pen testing/wifi hacking tools as recommended by various blogs/reviews.

i got the supposed n150, and the actual tested max speed under optimal condition is around 45 megabits down. so that's around 1/3rd of the advertised bandwidth. i guess the price does kind of match a similar 50mbits down dongle made in the west. edit: the product has stopped working after 4 months

Works GREAT with Linux

Tried other adapters to get Linux up and running on an old

Great signal stability and detachable antennae

Speeds are nowhere near as advertised (they never are no matter what you buy) but still tolerable; The problem could very well be my router so I'm not disappointed

"Strong and sturdy dongle with good price and 3 yr warranty"

Introduction: This purchase was initiated by a very sad event - the death of my 10-year-old Belkin dongle (equivalent to a 100 years old human) which was used by another PC (see my review of TP-Link TL-WN727N dongle for that side of the story).

Good price and 3 years warranty (better than EU standard 2 yr warranty

nothing to worry about

Easy wireless capability

This surprisingly inexpensive wireless adapter couldnt be easier to install--just plug it into a free USB port. The computer (Win 10 Pro) recognized and installed it immediately, and it worked right from the start. I have not used it much yet, but so far it seems good to go.

Great piece of kit

This adapter is top notch. Its fast and reliable. However, if you are running Windows 8 you will need to download drivers from TP Link. It would not install from the cd. I had previously contacted TP Link and they said it was compatible with Windows 8 so I was a bit peeved about it but after finding...

TP-LINK TL-WN722N USB 2.0 High Gain Wireless Adapter

This factor is excellent. Its a bit larger than i expected but it feels strong and performs wonderful. Its also more rapidly than i anticipated and the range on it is wonderful.
