It's well priced: the similar WDR4300 (a so-called N750 router for its ability to achieve 450Mbps on 5GHz) is identical except that it costs £20 more and has three, rather than two detachable antennae.

The TP-Link TL-WDR3600 is a fine choice if you're looking for a reasonably priced dual-band router with gigabit ports and can live with the design. Read our TP-Link TL-WDR3600 review to find out more.
The old addage "you get what you pay for" has never been more true then as it applies to wireless routers. All cheap wireless routers (like this one) are cheap for a reason. Specifically a lack of memory and processing power.
Bought this router as a replacement for my old Cisco wrt160n. The initial setup of this router is quite simple, just follow the "quick setup" at the router's web interface and you should be done within 5 minutes. The range is definitely better than my old router.
-Cheap; -Working great at 5.0Ghz; -Reasonable long range
-Useless 2.4Ghz; -Takes about an minute to reset when saving router configuration
So far so good! Much faster that the Netgear N600 and easier to set up. Just put the disc in and follow directions. Password protect keeps the thieves away from your signal. Great for tech dummies like myself.
Poor radio performance compared to my older TP-Link router, but this one has 5GHz as well, which is what I really wanted. Somewhat clunky web interface, but it works.
Had purchased this product to connect to Distributel modem - Huawei. Was easy to install, maintained the speed at 72 Mbps, but... continuosly was losing connection overnight.
The installation was as easy as it can get! The best router out of all the other ones!
The wireless really only works when you choose one of the bandwidths. When you have both on, the wireless "fails" and disconnects, requiring a reset. I suppose for the price, it is OK, but it should not have this dual function since it is not really a feature you can use.
With both modems, the TP-Link TL-WDR3600 dropped the internet connection every 2 - 5 minutes. The only remedy was to reset the internet connection every two minutes. This is totally unacceptable.
The TP-Link TL-WDR3600 is advertised as being dual-dand, with two USB ports; That's about the only comment I can objectively make about this router that is positive
I bought a TP-Link TL-WDR3600 router brand new, with stock firmware version TL-WDR3600_V1_120508 (Firmware Date: 5/28/2012) pre-installed; I tried to use the TL-WDR3600 router with two different modems, a Motorola SB5100, and a Motorola SB6141 that previously worked flawlessly with a LinkSys WRT54GS...
