The adapter does not automatically link to my WIFI, I have to link it to the network each time before use. Once it links, it is fast.
I had several USB wifi-dongles before in my pc, but none of them delivered the speed what should be the maximum. I tested all of them on speedtest.net but every time the result was around just half of the speed of our connection ( we have 75mbit net, results were around 30-35mbit).

I tested this wireless adapter on a Lenovo ThinkPad 460s using the USB 3.0 port (SS) using whatever the default Windows 10 driver is. The Adapter came with a CDROM, but my laptop doesn't have a CD drive, so I didn't test with the TP-Link drivers, which may be why my bandwidth is slow.
Compact; Easy To Set Up
Slow
I bought this after my son took a fifty foot network cable and ran it through the house from his computer to my office. This unit was super easy to setup. In less than five minutes I was running speed tests to our Wireless AC router and was getting 128 mbps, which as it happens is what my wired PC...
