Keeps Dropping Signal

I originally bought this in an attempt to not snake a Ethernet cable around my house to my HTPC but the dongle drops connections every five to ten minutes. I tried to troubleshoot it and the dang thing refuses to stay connected. Ended up snaking the cable after all.

New WiFi

The set up of this adapter was very easy. The best thing about set up is the usb cord that is included. This allowed for easier placement and not worrying about having an object sticking out of your usb drive and possible getting damaged.

Issues

The adapter does not automatically link to my WIFI, I have to link it to the network each time before use. Once it links, it is fast.

Satisfied

I had several USB wifi-dongles before in my pc, but none of them delivered the speed what should be the maximum. I tested all of them on speedtest.net but every time the result was around just half of the speed of our connection ( we have 75mbit net, results were around 30-35mbit).

Nice adopter. Being multi band

Nice adopter. Being multi band, the price is slightly on higher side. Its connectivity with my ADSL2 dual band Router modem TP Link D2 AC750, connectivity is very good. I am getting 1.7 Mbps on 5 Ghs band with channel setting on 48.

Powerful antenna and good speed

I bought this wi-fi adapter specifically because my existing one was not getting a very good signal from my wireless router. It was not feasible to move the router or the computer, thus the need for a more powerful adapter. The minute I installed this wifi adapter the difference was obvious.

Easy to Use; Features; Performance; Quiet

Expensive; physically large; not feasible to use with a laptop

Moving a desktop pc to another room which was previously connected to the router via a cable.

TPLink AC1200 USB Adaptor

I wanted to wirelessly connect a Windows Vista pc to router but device does not support Vista. Would not work in compatibility mode either! Ended up buying a Netgear similar device which works with Vista. It pays to research products thoroughly before purchase.

TP-Link Archer T4U Dual-Band AC1200 USB Wi-Fi Adapter

Bought a handful of these last week and they provided a significant performance gain for my client's PC's previously only Wireless-N. Almost 10x the throughput. Highly recommended for quick, cost-effective wireless boost!
