I did my homework and pinpointed this device as the one for me. I can only say that all the things it claims it does are true. It is so simple to setup and use. After 2 weeks of use i have encountered no issues or setbacks. The interface is brilliant and the free apps are great. If the specs for this device suit you then the device is well worth considering. I had a QNAP before this and while it serviced a purpose, the Synology software is far superior. Give it a look.

This is our first NAS. It is highly recommended for everybody to have one.

This is a great little NAS with heaps of features available via the Web Management Interface.

Not cheap but very easy to use.
