Amazing product worth every dollar spent

The much anticipated, long awaited launch of the DiskStation DS1817+ from Synology has finally happened. The upgrade to Synology's 5 and 8-bay DiskStation, which was first launched back in 2011, the DS1817+ is another 8-bay NAS system, but it's much more comprehensive than previous models.

I purchased the Synology DS1817+ to replace my 5 year old Synology DS1512+ NAS, I have been using Synology products for 10 years and always look forward to the innovative improvements to their DSM; The cloud applications are integral to my work and I used them daily.
None so far; Just waiting for the M2D17 card to become available so I can utilize the M.2 SSD caching without utilizing a drive slot
