While I started out using the Foodsaver on everything at first, I now use it once a week or so. I love using it to seal leftovers to make a 'Bubble and Squeak on a Sunday morning breakfast. I've also used it to seal overabundant tomatoes and mangoes (all cheap at the moment) and then freeze them. I have used the container to marinate beef and it really does cut marinating time to minutes. I left mine for half an hour and it had forced flavour through the steak perfectly! If you are thinking about it, buy one, you won't regret it.
