It's hard enough dealing with an action game that switches into "surprise bullet time" at the drop of a hat, yet the game's shockingly sluggish performance is far from its only problem. Graphical glitches abound, ranging from the merely annoying to outright show-stoppers.

The first sign that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a mediocre port comes as soon as you boot up the game: you can't navigate the menus with a mouse. On its own, this isn't an awful fact, but it's an omen of bad things to come.

The Force Unleashed was a great concept and a better narrative let down by a handful of mechanical faults and poor design decisions. A sequel was always on the cards but unfortunately what we're presented with fails to meet the high expectations expected of the license.

You know what really annoys me? Those episodes of TV shows where something huge happens, that's sure to effect the entire show's cannon, only to reveal that it's all a dream at the end.

I've already had my fair share of experience with this particular title, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed . I've played through the story both on the Xbox 360 and Wii, and I've even dabbled with the PS3 version of the game, so I'm pretty well-acclimated with the title by now.

It's been several years since LucasArts first asked its fan base, "Would you be interested in playing as a Star Wars villain?" Apparently, this idea was met with some enthusiasm, and the result was The Force Unleashed for console gaming systems.

The Good : Cool force powers are fun to wield. Levels are for the most part interesting. The Bad : Boss battles are more gimmicky than fun The Ugly : Keyboard is a little unresponsive. Difficult targeting system. Some significant audio stuttering problems.

This game is hard for me to review correctly: it has so many great aspects and just a few, but glaring, deficiencies. You start out as a very skilled fighter with amazing force-powers. I love this because it is a break from the cookie-cutter set-up of start with nothing and slowly learn new skills.
