The first sign that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a mediocre port comes as soon as you boot up the game: you can't navigate the menus with a mouse. On its own, this isn't an awful fact, but it's an omen of bad things to come.

Intense story is one of the best Star Wars tales in years; Fantastic physics engine lets you pull off all sorts of cool moves; Includes three extra chapters not included in original console release

Unstable frame rate and other performance issues; No effort to tailor the port to the platform; The new Hoth mission isn't very good

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Sith Edition

"Do or Do Not. There is no try" – Master Yoda. If only developer Aspyr Media understood these words, we wouldn't have been so disappointed. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (SW:TFU) came out nearly two years ago for the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, DS and ngage (phew), but completely avoided...

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition - PC - Review

It's been several years since LucasArts first asked its fan base, "Would you be interested in playing as a Star Wars villain?" Apparently, this idea was met with some enthusiasm, and the result was The Force Unleashed for console gaming systems.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

The Good : Cool force powers are fun to wield. Levels are for the most part interesting. The Bad : Boss battles are more gimmicky than fun The Ugly : Keyboard is a little unresponsive. Difficult targeting system. Some significant audio stuttering problems.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition

"Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition" was awesome on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but the PC port doesn't fare so well.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition review (PC)

It's hard enough dealing with an action game that switches into "surprise bullet time" at the drop of a hat, yet the game's shockingly sluggish performance is far from its only problem. Graphical glitches abound, ranging from the merely annoying to outright show-stoppers.

PC Review - 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition'

I've already had my fair share of experience with this particular title, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed . I've played through the story both on the Xbox 360 and Wii, and I've even dabbled with the PS3 version of the game, so I'm pretty well-acclimated with the title by now.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II review

The Force Unleashed was a great concept and a better narrative let down by a handful of mechanical faults and poor design decisions. A sequel was always on the cards but unfortunately what we're presented with fails to meet the high expectations expected of the license.

More fluid combat; the Force Unleashed empowered mode delivers on its titular promise

Extremely short; very careless storytelling; a lack of variety in enemies; still more quick-time events
