I actually have this phone, and it is amazing! Nice big vivid screen, stylish gorgeous looks that make you want to double take. Gives you a really good quality premium feel for a phone.

This isn't as clear cut as I'd like it to be. The Z5 Premium, with its name and its look-at-me mirrored finish, had to be perfect. It also had to justify Sony's decision to fit that crazy UHD screen and boast about the massive pixel count, but it doesn't.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a an expensive, no-compromise Android phone. It's Sony's equivalent to the iPhone 6S Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge . In terms of design, each of those phones has a stand-out feature: 3D touch in the iPhone; curved sides on the Edge.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium review: Astonishing resolution results in an astonishing price
Don't be tempted by the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's attention-grabbing 4K screen. You can spend less money on a better all-round flagship phone. Sony's Xperia Z5 premium is the flagship phone Sony has owed us for a long time. While the standard Z5 was a fairly uninspiring reissue of the brilliant Z3, the Z5 Premium packs a bigger screen with a whopping 4K resolution, which is 3,840x2,160 pixels. It's the first phone to have a 4K resolution and it's the highest resolution I've ever seen on a phone.
Pros:
- Sony's Xperia Z5 Premium has a gorgeous
- pin-sharp screen
- it's powerful
- packs a solid camera and won't die when you spill your drink on it.
Cons:
- Its 4K display results in a sky-high price, but the extra resolution adds nothing to the overall experience
- Sony's familiar design is beginning to look rather tired.
