Sony Xperia XZ2 H8296 6GB 64GB
The Sony Xperia XZ2 (H8296) is the just-released phone from Sony, and its big on display, performance and photographic quality.
A Big, Bold Display
The display on the Sony Xperia XZ2 is clear and easy to read, with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD touch display and top-notch screen resolution: 1080 x 2160p with 424ppi pixel density.
A Top Performer
The Sony Xperia XZ2 promises powerful multimedia, gaming and graphics performance, certainly the equal of many of the top smartphones on the market. This is made possible by a winning combination of Sony Triluminos and X-Reality Engine tech, and built-in Adreno 630 GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Feature Packed Cameras
Like any premium model, the X72 has a lot to live up to in the camera department and it doesn't disappoint with a powerful blend of quality cameras front and rear. The rear Motion Eye camera is a stunner, boasting a 19 MP sensor with predictive phase detection and Electronic Image Stabilization, particularly good for recording high-quality 4K video.
Sensational S-Force Sound
The Sony Xperia XZ2 doesn't just look good - it sounds good too! In this day and age when we're creating mini-movies on our smartphones, we need great audio to partner with the footage we shoot. The S-Force Front Surround stereo speakers on the Sony Xperia XZ2 deliver exceptional audio, certainly some of the best you'll hear in any smartphone.
Quick Charge Battery
The 3,180 mAh battery is big enough to provide ongoing use and can be quickly topped up with Quick Charge 3.0.

Sony Xperia XZ2 review: The Sony Xperia XZ2 is a good phone overshadowed by better ones
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is a solid phone, but we prefer the Huawei P20 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S9. Like the XZ before it, the Xperia XZ2 will have a tough time competing with the excellent Huawei P20 Pro ($471 at Amazon) and Samsung Galaxy S9 ($500 at Walmart) phones. Then there's the even higher-end XZ2 Premium, which threatens to overshadow the XZ2 for buyers leaning toward high-end specs. However, as of yet the Premium doesn't have a confirmed release date.- The Sony Xperia XZ2's curved design makes it comfortable to hold, and its powerful speakers and cool vibration feature make games and videos feel larger than life
- Being able to shoot 960fps slow motion in full HD is useful in the right moments
- The fingerprint reader works in the US.
- The Xperia XZ2 has a dated look, despite Sony's redesign
- Software features, such as 3D face scanning, aren't very useful
- The placement of the fingerprint sensor makes it too easy to press the camera lens instead.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Review: Rebellious to a Fault
It's about time. After a string of underwhelming flagship smartphones marred by spiritless design and a deficit of essential features, the Xperia XZ2 is an earnest show of progress for Sony's mobile division. The result is a 5.7-inch handset that rights many of the sins of its predecessors.- Unique design
- Fast performance
- Great battery life
- Dynamic Vibration is a gimmick
- Poor fingerprint sensor placement
- Full-HD super-slow-mo clips are too short
- Underwhelming low-light performance

Sony Xperia XZ2 – Review
So, after two weeks using the XZ2 what are my final thoughts Well, firstly I have to say the new design is a nice change from the previous old and boring look. It is quite different and that was nice to see. Refreshing. The other main focus of the XZ2 is of course the camera they have put in here.
Sony Xperia XZ2
By now you know what you're going to get with a high-end Xperia smartphone: a solid piece of mobile tech that gets all the basics right, but perhaps lacks that standout feature to make it distinct in a market saturated by other offerings.- Top of the line specifications
- Cleaner UI
- Superb all-round camera
- Slightly slippery back cover
- Odd fingerprint sensor placement
