Sony Xperia XA F3115
Aesthetically speaking, the Sony Xperia XA is a stunning phone. Everyone should find a colour to match their personality by choosing from White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold. At only 7.9mm thick, it has a sleek, minimalist look, and at 137.4g you’ll be able to take it anywhere without it affecting the weight of your pocket too much. With its 5-inch screen covered in scratch-resistant glass, it will keep on looking stunning for a long time too.
Luckily its highlights don’t stop there, because its functionality is as exceptional as its style. At its foundation, it has an Octa-core CPU and a Mali-T860MP2 GPU which helps this Smartphone perform quick & fault free. Paired with this is an Android version 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system. For even better application support, you should consider upgrading to version 7.0 (Nougat) though.
Download applications, files and images onto the Xperia’s 16GB internal storage space. You’ll find that it can contain quite a lot of your favourite games and images. You can easily slide in a 256GB MicroSD card if you need to store even more data.
One feature that may use up storage space is the Sony Xperia XA’s camera. With a 13MP camera, you may be tempted to take more pictures than usual, due to their exceptional quality. All the photos will look extraordinary on the touchscreen, with its resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 294 ppi pixel density.

Sony Xperia XA review
The smartphone that's Xtremely Average- Reasonably good camera and touchscreen
- Poor fit and finish
- Questionable aesthetics
- Short battery life
- Slow performance
- Far better value phones available
Worst battery and not user friendly android experience. Avoid!!
Rear camera scratches very easily even with protector is worn on. Camera's lens get very scuff so that leads to muddy and unclear pictures after a while. User experience Terrible. Not even near to genuine Android. Battery life span Disgustingly shocking!
Very nice phone.
Fit nicely in the palm of the hand. The phone is the right size for seniors (not too heavy, still it feels solid). It took nice pictures. Voice is loud and clear.
As you can see for yourself, the machine is exactly what should be of a modern smart phone the middle segment. It looks very attractive, and many of the girls are thinking to buy a pink iPhone 6S or stay at the Sony Xperia XA – after all, the characteristics are not important in the case of Sony...
Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra hands-on first impressions video
The Sony Xperia X , Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones were recently launched in Malaysia for RM2499, RM1199 and RM1699 respectively. While we did manage to do some hands-on with these devices during the launch we've since come out with a hands-on video of the smartphones.
Narrow margins
Of Sony's 2016 offerings, the Xperia XA is the one that managed to get under our skin. It reminds us of the Xperia T, which sold us on a curved back, solely on the basis of aesthetics and ergonomics.
Sony Xperia XA Review
We recently published our review of the Xperia X – good phone but with high asking price. This time, we're back with its toned-down sibling – Sony Xperia XA . Priced at under Php14K, does it have enough to entice budget-conscious consumers? Find out in our review below.- * Nice build and design
- * Capable CPU and RAM
The Sony Xperia XA is competent in most areas and great in a few, but it's overpriced and undercooked.
- + Stylish
- + Strong front-facing camera
- + Octa-core processor
- - Only a 720p screen
- - Weak battery
- - Not great value

We feared that Sony might finally have come off the tracks with the Xperia X. Can the cheaper Xperia XA right the wrongs, or is it on a collision course with disappointment once more?- Desirable design
- great price
- NFC
- Dim display
- bloatware
- performance hiccups
- battery won't last a day
