Classy looking phone with a good touch screen. Also comes in pink or white.
Works well, only thing is I had to set up an APN in the mobile network data settings to be able to use the data on the phone with my carrier. The phone itself has a better functioning touch screen than a Samsung Galaxy, has a non slip backplate, it supports Operator Wallet and Google Wallet through...

Sony has certainly been busy with its Xperia lineup of phones this year. I've checked out the Xperia Ion and the Xperia acro S previously, and both phones had their own merits. The latest Sony phone to land in our offices is the sleek Xperia TX, which Sony proudly advertised in the latest James Bond...

Sony are an interesting company to me, as before the Chinese dominated electronics, then Korea began their rampage with Samsung and LG, the Japanese made some of the best electronics in the world. Sony were once the pinnacle (to most) of electronics in the 80s and 90s. The Walkman. Trinitron.

Sony Xperia TX
Fans of the Sony brands should be very happy with this release, as it really seems like Sony has moved passed its separation from Ericsson and is finding its feet. The handset's design is immediately recognisable as a Sony phone and it includes some very nice touches.
Pros:
- Best Sony screen to date
- Nice user interface
- Replaceable battery
- expandable memory
Cons:
- No HDMI
- Photos can be quite noisy
- Older version of Android

Sony Xperia TX review: Sony Xperia TX
This is Sony's best phone to date, but it is released at a time when competition is at its maximum. Its 13-megapixel camera should be the difference in Sony's favour, but it's not. The evolution of feature phones to smartphones has claimed several scalps, Nokia and BlackBerry most notably. Sony (nee Sony Ericsson) has also struggled to find its feet in this brave, new world; until now. Recent estimations put Sony at third place in smartphone sales, and for good reason. The company continues to make better phones with each new release.
Pros:
- Best Sony screen to date
- Nice user interface
- Replaceable battery, expandable memory.
Cons:
- No HDMI
- Photos can be quite noisy
- Older version of Android.

The Xperia TX marks the return of Sony's famed arching body initially popularised by the aptly names Xperia Arc. Whereas the Xperia S bulged from the seams, this smartphone curves inwards, ergonomically accommodating a person's brace. At 8.6mm thin and 127 grams, there's not much to hold.
Pros:
- Great Screen and high pixel density
- Sony's Android skin is the most attractive
- Camera shutter key
Cons:
- Cubed corners undermine the arced spine
- Camera quality is underwhelming, particularly for a Sony smartphone
