Sony Xperia Go review: Sony Xperia Go
Sony picks its market well, and creates a good phone for the outdoors type. The screen is on the small side, though, and there are a few common features absent. Most phones are for most people. Identifying yourself with a new handset is rather hard to do, which is also the reason why bedazzled Hello Kitty iPhone cases sell so well.
Pros:
- Excellent design for a rugged phone
- Zippy performance
- Some handy apps installed.
Cons:
- Small display
- Average battery life
- No front-facing camera.

It also has the advantage of being waterproof and dustproof, making it ideal if you're likely to find yourself out in the wilds, or even at a festival -- considering the weather we've been having recently, it's...
Pros:
- Stylish looks
- waterproof and dustproof
- dual-core processor

Sony Xperia Go Review
Sony Ericsson, now Sony Mobile Communications, has always been in the limelight for introducing new phones. Its phones are considered to be beauty-with-brains, slick, compact, elegant, delicate, and equally powerful. It's all thanks to the Adreno GPU incorporated in most of Sony's Android phones.

It seems to be raining Xperia handsets of just about every size and configuration these days as Sony goes into overdrive to revive its mobile fortunes. The latest is the all terrain Xperia Go, but with all the previous rugged phones giving blink and miss performances in the Indian market, with this...

The Sony Xperia Go is a mid-priced Android smartphone, only one that's built to be rugged. It's aimed at those wanting a phone which can handle some bumps and scrapes so they needn't worry about it getting damaged.

Sony Xperia go
Sony Xperia Ion – Another Sony handset, but this time one that's not water-resistant. If you're not really that bothered about being able to take your phone into the swimming pool for half an hour, then you're better off getting something like the Xperia Ion, which is a similar phone in terms of...

Sony Xperia Go review
The Sony Xperia Go wants to be the action phone in your life. It bears some of the hallmarks of Sony Ericsson, with that company's roundel on the rear, but otherwise comes decked out like the latest Sony Mobile devices.
Pros:
- Waterproofing
- nice design
- camera interface works nicely
- microSD card slot
Cons:
- Low screen resolution
- not hugely powerful
- software and user interface could be more up to date

Sony Xperia Go Review
Rugged phones have been around for quite some time but have been quite gimmicky in their "rugged" utility. In focusing on the rugged aspect of the smartphone, these devices have given up on some essential features such as utility, comfort and power under the hood.
Pros:
- Solid performance
- Great build quality
- Good camera
Cons:
- No ICS out-of-the-box
- Low-res display
- Cramped onscreen keyboard
